Several reasons can explain why Funza and Soacha are positioned as the municipalities with the highest commercialization of motorcycles: The demographic increase; the impact of the price of transport on the finances of families; labor and educational dependency with other municipalities and the District; and a public transport system that for several years at peak hours has been operating at full capacity and to which an attempt is being made to respond with short-term and insufficient measures, as is the case of Transmilenio in the municipality of Soacha and as will Regiotram in West.

The frequency with which we take public transport is undoubtedly abysmal.
